What information do I need to complete the application?
You will need your personal contact information, ten (10) years of work history, professional licenses and certifications (if required for position), languages spoken other than English, referral information and a valid email address.
How do I apply?
Option #1: Online Application
You may complete the online application located on our career page. By clicking on the title of the position, you may view the job summary and the minimum qualifications of the position. Before applying, please ensure that you meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
Option #2: Paper Application

What if I forget my “username and password”?
On the
login page, click on
Login Help in order to change or retrieve your username and/or password. The system will give you two options to choose from if you forgot your username and/ or password. You will need your email address that you used when you created your profile.
How long will it take to complete the online application?
To ensure the safety of your personal information, our servers will time out at 180 minutes if left inactive. To avoid losing your work, keep your application active by moving the mouse, inputting data and clicking on to the next session. If you need to continue working on your application at a later time, please make sure you save your completed work.
After submitting an application, how long does the process take? Will someone contact me?
Once your application has been successfully submitted, we will review your application in a timely manner. If your application is selected for further consideration, you will be contacted within a two week period. Due to high application volume, we regret that we are unable to contact every applicant.
How can I verify that my application has been received?
You will receive an email confirmation receipt of your online application or a mailed postcard confirmation if you faxed your application.
What if I am interested in several positions, do I need to complete an application for each one?
Yes, you will need to submit either the online application or paper application for each employment opportunity that you are interested in.
What if the position I am looking for is not listed?
If the position you are looking for is not listed, it is not available at this time.
Who do I contact to check the status of my application?
Unfortunately due to the high volume of applications, we regret that we are unable to provide status to applicants individually.
What does your pre-employment screening process entail?
After an offer of employment has been extended and accepted, a comprehensive background investigation will be conducted including applicable education verification, previous employment verification, felony convictions and OIG-GSA search.
Once the results are received, you will then be scheduled for the pre-placement screening. This consists of a 2 step TB skin test, immunization screening, annual influenza vaccination or declination statement and job function assessment. Proof of legal documentation to work and remain in the United States is also required.
Does St. Joseph Hospital accept new graduate registered nurse applications?
We do offer a new graduate training program periodically which will be posted to our career site’s job listings. New graduates can apply online when the position becomes available.
Does St. Joseph Hospital sponsor foreign work visas?
St. Joseph Hospital does not sponsor visas.
If I am a current St. Joseph Hospital employee, how do I apply for a transfer?
St. Joseph Employees can apply for a transfer by completing the Internal Transfer Request form available on CareNet and in the Human Resources office. Employees should not contact the department where the opening exists.
What if I am a current employee at a sister ministry, how do I apply for a position at St. Joseph Hospital?
You must submit a transfer form to your Human Resources office in order to be considered for an open position.
